Default Goodyear DuraTrac in 255/55-19 - Availability?

Goodyear's site no longer lists this size but some vendors still seem to have stock. Anybody know if they discontinued this size permanently?

No idea. In fact, I can't even get to a list of available tire size on Goodyear's website. However, I've read enough stories about people in LR3 blowing out the sidewalls on those tires that it scared me away. I ended up with KO2s and they're fantastic. Have no regrets whatsoever. They may not look quite as mean as the Duratracs, but I'd wager they have all the grip with better on road manners.

A little buried, but still available: https://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires...ViewSizesSpecs

I do not see the 255/55/19 size though.

Interesting. I don't see a single 19" tire size on that list. I do remember that when I was looking, I didn't see the size that I wanted, but then somebody pointed out that it was an LT tire and on a different list. This list looks like it has both normal and LT sizes though, so I would guess that the demand must not have been there, so they stopped making it. 19" is a pretty uncommon wheel size for offroad vehicles.

I know they aren't Goodyears but I ran Atturo Trailblade MT in that size on my D2 with RRS rims and they were awesome. Great on road and off. Not to noisy especially for aggressive the tread pattern was. Price is reasonable as well on them.

I have been looking and considering trying these, the only thing holding me back is the side wall protection the mountains of NC have very sharp Rock that can shred the sidewalls easily.
