Default Grey wire cut

HI, I'm Régis from Toulouse in France. I'm a newcomer.
I drove a Disco 200 TDI for 300.000 kms and since March 2017 a LR3.
It's a 2006 HSE TDV6.
Following a sunroof Water leak, I decided to remove the passager seat and the carpet in order to clean and dry.
Unfortunatly, I discovered a Grey/Slate wire cut or unplugged.
After several hours of research, I didn't find its location.
As you can see on the picture, the wire comes from the upper harness.
I didn't find any grey wire on the Lateral electrical harness.
If one of you can help me to find where this wire goes I will appreciate.

Please note that my LR3 is LHD and the defect is on the RH side. (so, LH side on English LR3).

Thank you for your help,

Best Regards,

Régis

It's nothing to worry about, it's a Lin-bus, check out this link and you'll find the information I posted about it before, following someone else's same query on the same wire. DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - Mistery cable the cause of PDC not working ? Please help !!

Many thank, it's amazing.

-However, to try fixing the ghost grey wire, I have disconnected/reconnected many plugs. I also repaired 2 or 3 little red wires corroded. (with Battery disconnected).

Now the LH display shows E, and the central many messages: in french
- Transmission Defaut Vitesses Limitées Disp
- Defaut HDC System non disponible
- Defaut frein Stat (parking break)

It's no possible to start the engine and it's no possible to move the gearboxe lever.
No click felt on the lever.
It's possible to release the parking break.

I have no diagnostic tool.
So do you think the system will return normal after erasing fault codes?

Best regards

Régis

Default Fixed

A plug was disconnected behind the fuse box.
No more defect.
It's running perfectly.

Well done, that wasn't an easy one to find. Glad to hear you're back on the road.
