Help key in ignition warning stays on
Hi All,
I'm new to the landrover discovery 3 ownership (2005 TDV6 hse auto) which has very quickly made me a newbie to using forums for help aswell.
Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.
So the problem I have is the key in ignition warning stays on when the key is in my hand. I have read and tried the following,
Replaced the switch block off the barrel with no joy, so next I left all the column casing off so when it done it next I could remove the switch to see if the push rod in the ignition barrel was sticking, which it wasn't and the warning keept going even with switch disconnected, so I'm now leaning towards a sticking relay or wiring issue. I found today if I disconnect the battery and re connect it the fault clears where before I just left it and after a few hours it would clear its self. I have also tried pulling ignition relay in fuse box under the bonnet but that didn't stop it
HELP
