Default High-beam turns off when using Left Turn signal

I'm not sure if this was always the case or if this is some thing that just started happening. I have a 2005 LR3 and unlike the manual states I have to pull the left stalk back to get the high beam to come on, the stalk does not push forward in any light switch mode. I just noticed when driving with my High-beam on (by pulling the stalk towards myself) when I use the left turn signal the high beam turns off, if i use the right turn signal the high-beam continues to stay on. Is this normal or has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks guys!

Ryan

Not normal at all. It should move forward and stay to give you high beams. Sounds like a bad "stalk". Pulling back to get high beams is only temporary and should reset if you let go.

the "Stalk" was the issue, the dealer ordered a replacement, said it was going to be about $150 for parts and labor, sounded like a a good price to me actually. Thanks again Jantiz!
