How many miles are on your LR3
#94
I have 125,000 on my 2006 LR3. I bought in 2008 with about 30,000 on it.
Repairs:
Alternator at about 100k cost about $500
Suspension compressor needs to be replaced. Only functions at normal height. Hope it will cost only $500. ?@ 100k. cost $90.
About to replace brakes for the first time after about 90,000 miles.
On my second set of Goodyear tires, previous set lasted 60k miles.
I change the oil every 5k miles and rotate tires at the same time.
I have the 6 cylinder and am very please with it. I get compliments all the time that it looks brand new.

Just bought a 2007 4.4L SE at 70K miles in GORGEOUS condition!!! Zero issues except a really weird one with the back left passenger door. Even when car is locked, door will open and sound alarm and if inside, you need to pull handle AND locking level to open door.
All in all LOVING it and could not be happier. Glad to be part of the Rover Family now!!!

125,000 on 06 LR3
125,000 on 06 LR3. Got it from the dealer with 1,500 on it in December of 2006. Had the tire issues early on, replaced air suspension once, 2 brake jobs, and thermostat housing twice. It has been all I hoped it would be and is practically a member of our family. Torn between keeping if forever of going for another one in a year or two...

101k, new rubber and just had my Indy pull the 100k service along with a complete brake job including new rotors, ceramic pads, hoses, etc...spent $1300, now for the next 100k...purchased new in 2005, its been a great truck and has a lot of life and use left in it...

2006 HSE with 99k miles on it.
Nobody's added one here for a while, so just to freshen up the post to 2014.
2006 HSE
Bought with 72,000 on it a little over two years ago. 99,100 now.
Doing accessory belts, idler pulley, hoses, t-stat and housing, rear brakes (fronts were done a couple months ago), new tires, trying a compressor refresh since getting codes on dash, did tranny, diffs and transfer case when I bought it and getting ready to do those again. Did lower a-arms (wishbones) a six weeks ago and I'm already saving up for the struts. Want to keep the air suspension option for deep snow and when I inherit the truck from the wife and take it off road
Previous owner had some weird issues with it and they had to drop the fuel tank to reattach a fuel line, but major repairs have mostly been kept to a minimum. Wouldn't be able to afford this truck, though, if I couldn't do the work myself and get the help of forum members to assist me. I would have to spend too much time figuring things out.
Wife loves old Nigel, and I'll have to keep him going for 200k if possible. I hear the engines are bulletproof; guess I'll find out. It doesn't use any oil right now, and at 100k miles, that's remarkable.
