Can't argue that one.

Remember, I am married so I have a woman already.

Let's hope that the most we have to do is off-road for sport and roll the city-scape.

Enjoy!

If i were you I would not take those wheels in mud unless I had to. Even the stock wheels get scratched from the spinning in mud.
Did your truck have the 18" or 19" wheels?

Yes. I have the stock 18 inch 6 spoke with Kumho tires in the garage. Thanks for the heads up. I will switch to them and try to off-road. I was in the Army for 5 years - in Germany, so I have some experience getting into the soup but man, I thought I had left those days behind until joining the LR Family.

Speaking of scratches, it looks like you are either one or the other when it comes to driving LR's. EIther you keep it for luxury or you get it scratched up off-road?? I suppose I need to go to an event to see the shape of the vehicles after going through some things. I would not want to have to constantly repair scratches and dings. Hey, maybe I can drive someone elses! LOL

Mikey,

I really like your demeanor and the way you diplomatically shrugged off people's attacks. You made a really intriguing argument when you alluded to the LRs luxury cues making the case for blinging as opposed to its off-road capability cues making the case for out-rigging. Anyhow...if you have the 18s in your garage, I encourage you to slap them on and give it a go on the trails. I think you'll be surprised at how well you can avoid damage and if you do get some scuffs, 90% of them buff right out. Try going to www.zainostore.com This is the only stuff I use on my rig, and I swear by it. I go off-road about 6-10 times a year and this stuff makes my LR3 look superb afterwards!

Here are a few pics...as you can see I also go back 'n forth between a stock set-up and an off-road set-up. It takes time to go back 'n forth but it's worth it!

having such wheels completely negate purpose of the car and with my luck, the day i would put some shiny 20" wheels i would need to go offroad :-D

Like yesterday, cars stuck in hill fully made from ice. I turned around, drove 5km back but the second road looked same. So i returned and climbed through trench and some 20% slope into the wood in front of a golf place, then connected to the road again on top of the hill :-). My tires are rated 90% offroad and i love them even on highway :-D

Wink You're a dying breed and dying is hard, isn't it.

It's tough recognizing that your mindset is a dying breed.

I'll give you a clue. YOu have said nothing in your hate speak that I have not heard before. THe question you have to ask is why does my enjoyment of my vehicle make you so angry and hateful toward a whole race of people. That, my friend, is your issue, not mine.

I am willing to talk about it in a different forum, not here because my love for Land Rover means more to me than bickering with you.. My email address is kingpicc@yahoo.com. Typically, whenever I engage people who have your mentality, which is rare, they never have any substantial evidence to support their claims except fear. You may be different though.

I'll give you my phone number as well if you really want to get this off of your chest. Just let me know. I am glad you're pissed though. I love pissing off people with supremacist attitudes. Most white people probably don't like you so your problem is not with me, Brotha. Look in the mirror.

You're driving an LR3 for the "bling factor?" Yeah--- I don't think so. I live right outside of NYC and unfortunately, there's a whole misconception that a hot ride constitutes chromed 24s, obnoxious exhausts, double-limo tints and gangster rap. Hate to burst anyone's bubble, but all this constitutes as is a confirmation to your status title of "waste of life."

It's sad that the only LR3 forum I can be active on is the British disco3.co.uk. I too am beginning to hate America... except it's because of the buffoon liberal mindset where anything goes. We're breeding such a culture of unexceptionalism, laziness, arrogance and a false sense that we're the great republic we used to be.

(Waits as 100 _WHITE_ people come and attack me. It's a sad day when WHITES sell out WHITES.)

Over and out. Habe einen guten tag!

Thumbs up Leadership - Thank you.

Hello houm_wa.

Thanks for the kind words. We had lots of snow and ice in Dallas this year and I drove 80 miles daily routinely because of the vehicle's ability. It served me much better than my co-workers' vehicles.

I never had the opportunity to get the tires back onto it but I guess you could say that I used just a fraction of what it can do. I'll have to join a local group before going offroad though because I never do things like this without talking with the experts. And a city man like me will need advice.

Your message shows your level of leadership. It comes from confidence, not fear. It's what I have come to admire in many LR owners including my former CEO who asked me for a recommendation before buying his Range Rover. Thank you.

Default Is that a naked woman?

I agree with you as far as offroading. My tires are still highly rated tires that allow me to use the traction control features for weather superiority.

Nice photo. Make it larger.
