I put a new battery in my '08 LR3 this weekend and noticed this plug just behind the old battery. It was not plugged in and did not seem to have anything in the immediate vicinity to connect with it. Ideas?

 

I subscribe to the idea of automotive metaphysics. If everything on a rover was connected where it should be and you fix all the issues it opens a worm hole to another dimension that allows the space time continuum to break another part on the rover. In others words let sleeping dogs rest.
