Default 3 flash software also needed.

I tried the same procedure in my attempt to get both the 3 flash and the NAV mods to function.

In the case of the 3 flash, there firstly has to be the 6 flash software program bits written into the original LR download. In the case of my 2005, the software is not there, hence the "switch" has nothing to switch.

You need a Faultmate or T4 and the circa 2008 software download to replace the existing software with the updated software that has the 3 flash function included.

With regards to the NAV, I do not know - it would not work either but I think for that to function, you have to change your LR3 to a D3, in other words, get rid of the North America spec software and install EU software - again the Faultmate or T4.

The 3 flash would be really nice to have I might add. I have the feature in my 2012 GMC Sierra SLE 4 door work pickup and it is convenient.

Im trying to plan ahead for future issues and a have a quick question. If I replace the compressor do I need to take it to the dealer to have it "programmed"? What about new height sensors? If yes, can my iidtool calibrate a new height sensor? I read the manual but didn't quite understand that section. Also if the suspension throws a fault and it is a height sensor is the code specific, for example left front height sensor failure?

Enable NAV in motion needs software reflash so until it has been done, it can’t be enabled. I don't think that's in scope for the IID tool (yet?).

Atlantic British sells them too, but it's cheaper to buy from the UK.

Rsw has an interesting option, it's still obviously in the development stages, but it looks like it will read and clear codes, and will now adjust EAS heights.

Does the IID Tool work with any vehicle or do you have to buy a license for each vehicle that you use it on. IE, we have a 2005 LR3 and a 2006 RRS, will it work on both of them or do you get one vehicle with the device and have to buy a license for any additional vehicles? Thanks Phil

Default two licenses for the Evo

I do not know about the GAP IID but for the BlackBox Evolution, it would be two licenses. At least it is the same device anyway.

I think it's even worse for iid. I think it's vin locked to one vehicle. So even two LR3 would cost extra.

Default yes, VIN locked

I think that is correct - license is only good for one serial number.
