Hi, 2008 Land Rover LR3 HSE North American spec. The beige paint on the interior, driver side, panel on left side of center console, is peeling away from the black plastic beneath. Anybody have a color-match and process suggestion? Note, it does seem as if the type of paint/coating on this 'peeling' piece is slightly different to the type of paint/coating on the panel that begins directly below the cup holder. Of course the color on these 2 pieces looks the same, but the 'feel' is very slightly different. A 'rubber' feeling vs a 'plastic' feeling.
Yeah, looks like Alpaca - same as my truck. But I have no clue if there is a Pantone match or the like. Sometimes going the other direction is better, like black or something that won't match at all. Then its more like an accent part.
Short of finding a replacement console part from a wrecker:
Try bringing a piece of trim to Home Depot and have them color match a quart of latex
Remove the loose stuff, clean/prime, and paint to the edges and the nearest crease
$10 paint fix can't look worse than it does now - Their matches are usually spot on
Match the sheen while you're in there - I would guess eggshell is close - but they can help
