Default Key fob buttons suddenly stopped working, can't find splice

Hello all,

My key fob buttons suddenly stopped working on both remotes I have. Key still starts the truck just fine.

I tried reprogramming the remotes with no success. I figured it must be the splice in the wiring loom found under the kickplate of the right front (passenger) side.

U pulled up all the plastic bits bit for the life of me I just can't find the splice.

What am I doing wrong here? Does anyone know about where the splice should be? I attached a photo of where I was digging.

Edit:

I attached a wire trace machine and put it on fuse 43 as many suggested, I could not find the wire splice, I pulled f
Door sills on both sides looking for it with no luck. Can someone help me with a wiring diagram? I don't know what to check next.

Power wire to the antenna runs through the left side A pillar then across to the middle of the headliner right behind the first sunroof. I had the same issue and found no power at the antenna. I ran a wire overlay and powered it with fused battery power. Good luck!

its in there...I've repaired mine and it still didn't fix my issue. But anyway, just so you know, its a splice with four wires on my 2007 (not 3) and all the wires are green with a white stripe even though the wiring diagram says different.

Those green and white twisted wires in your pic are your speaker wires. It is not that.
