So odd. I am out of ideas other than it being whatever module that receives remote signals being bad.

Have you physically checked the buttons on the circuit board?

My guess is its either broken or the contact on the board has become un soldered.

A cell phone repair shop can inspect the board and re solder if needed.

You can also buy micro switches online. Hell, I’ll send you a remote and you can in solder the buttons and re solder on your board. I would have a cell phone repair place do the soldering, it’s fine work.

PM me if you want me to send a used remote for parts, you pay shipping.

I get my spare key fobs from online:

eBAy $18, Link
I belive they had a listing for two (2) keys for a similar price. I ended up getting four (4), to have a spare or two just in case there ever came a need.

Amazon $23,

Make sure you match frequency. First link is 433MHz second is 315MHz. I don't recall what freq the LR3 remote uses but I know the tire sensors are 315MHz. And double check the one you buy has the proper charging circuit for the fob battery. Otherwise you end up replacing the batteries every so often.

Thanks for the info guys and thank you for the offer Abran. I got the ones off amazon and programmed them with the GAP tool and they both worked. It was definitely the buttons.
