Im really surprised two fobs went bad at the same time. But glad all is well!

 

I don't recall the history but what I find is that the case degrades and people start using their finger nail on the actual button on the board and ruin it. Then they get fed up with how bad the case looks and and put a new case, hiding the faulty button. If this was a recent purchase, I would bet $ to Donuts thats what happened.
