Labor Repair times?
What is the best source for OEM warranty, or industry standard repair times? I can get the parts prices pretty close, but the labor is still an unknown sometimes.
I have subscribed to Alldata in the past and it was useful, just hoping there was a better solution for a one time download/purchase for the Land Rovers that I could reference without an annual fee and a clumsy user interface.
With the help of this forum, I usually have a pretty good idea what is wrong and diagnostic times for the repairs are reduced. But, when I do need to send my LR3 to the shop, I would like an idea of the labor cost for repair- remove/replacement of parts. (I know there is always the value add-on fees and costs, but I cant avoid those.
Any recommendations?

Many of us on here could give you a generalized idea of labor hours for a given job, but it's going to be BY THE JOB. Getting an all-over database is going to be stupid expensive and probably generally pointless as well. Most of these things need brake and suspension work.. that's about it.
In the past the vast wealth of knowledge here on the forum has been a great help in learning as much as I can about these cars.car, I had looked around and found exactly what you were saying. Too expensive to own myself. I will give up on that idea and try to remember to just ask on a job by job basis.
What drove this question was a 7 hour labor charge to change the air line from the compressor to the rear distribution valve block.Especially since I told the shop exatly what it was, where the hole was and even provided a photo and brief video. Even with that I can accept a 1 hour diagnostic charge as I am sure that is just standard, no complaint, just the way it is. But 7 hours seems a bit high to replace a 4 foot long plastic hose.and without any other source of info to draw from it just seems to sting more than just a little.
thanks for the help
