Land Rover LR3 Suspension fault?
Hey everyone, recently when driving my car and stopping anywhere my car starts to rise and lower the whole time while sitting at the red light. Also a light comes on that looks like its "roll over" but its obviously not in any type of terrain for that. It also lowers really low when I get home and leave in parked overnight. Here are some photos of it..

Anyone else have this issue and know of a fix or what to replace?
Thanks!

What color is the "rollover" icon? If it's red and lowers really low while you're driving it then it's most likely a bad height sensor calibration. If the icon is amber and the lowering doesn't happen until you've turned the car off and let it sit a while, it's likely a leak in your suspension somewhere.
I'm having a similar problem...2006 LR3. My amber suspension fault light came on, normal height only message, further investigation revealed that the suspension compressor had burnt out. I replaced the compressor and the relay and the suspension functions normally except that after start up the compressor runs for a few seconds, then stops which I think is normal, but after about a minute or so there is a sharp pressure release of air and the compressor starts up again. I'm thinking this is why the original unit burnt out. I checked the height at all four wheels after leaving it overnight and there is no significant drop. Is there a pressure relief valve that needs to be replaced? Or is it another problem. Any assistance would be appreciated, I have scoured the forum but can't find an answer.
@multirover sounds totally normal. The newest software added that pressure regulation step (the exhausting of air) and the new AMK compressor in particular runs frequently at start-up. It's weird...it runs for a while, then out-gasses and starts up....the stops...then runs maybe one more time. After about 5 minutes of this, it's done for a while.
TIP: Don't try to out-think the EAS. If it's working and there are no faults, be happy.

Thank you for your replies, the sound of the air pressure release was louder than normal, the compressor I fitted is a Doorman purchased new on eBay, a lot cheaper than OEM, since posting to the forum I found that there is an air pressure sensor fitted to the air valve block mounted on the chassis just ahead of the compressor. I replaced the sensor (part number RQH500011 around $75) and that seems to have solved the problem. I have put the system through it's paces, all the way up and down and so far all is well. Thanks again for your help, my wife will be pleased to get her LR3 back!
