Looking at an 06 LR3

Looking at a LR3. Owners says its throwing a check engine light “neutral safety switch”. I tried a search and couldn’t find that. Can anyone shed some light on it? It.

Yeah that makes no sense. The neutral safety switch keeps the car from being started in gear...has no connection to a CEL.

Ask if they shift into neutral to coast to a stop or to improve gas mileage rolling down a hill. This will throw both codes, don't ask how I know. If so, the codes should clear with time.
