Default Looking for a source to replace OEM seat cover.

To all,

I have a 2006 LR3 Base with the tan vinyl seats. I am looking for a source for OEM seat covers to replace the driver side seat cushion that is cracking. I have located several vendors stocking leather versions, but noone stocking the vinyl. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

Are you sure yours is Vinyl? North American spec?

I believe so. I purchased my LR3 new in Maryland. I have the base V6 model with vinyl/leatherette seats, Vinyl seats were standard on the base V6 LR3s from 05-07.

I guess I learned something new too. When I was looking, I saw either material but not mixed. Base was usually vinyl and confirmed by VIN lookup. The ones with leather were always HSE.

Have you considered going to a shop? They can probably create new covers using yours as templates. I dont think its terribly expensive.

If I can't find an OEM source, the next choice would be to find a trimmer and have a new piece sewn in. These LR3 seats also have a unique perforated pattern in the center. The plan was to find an OEM part that I could take to a trimmer so that everything is installed professionally and matches like new.
