LR3 - Ball joint brand, Delphi?
So I picked up a couple front lower arms for a very, very good price. New, not OEM but brand that is on par. Sadly the idiots that shipped them put them both in one box and they came a little bruised up. Not a big deal, no major damage except one ball joint boot is torn - likely from the nut being loose and the shipping cap on the joint being allowed to move. So a pinch point.
Figured I may as well just replace both ball joints since I have the tools.
Moog is out, its a crap brand to me.
Lemforder is at the top of the list but since the buy-outs and stuff over the years I am not sure if they should still be at the top or not.
Mevotech is second runner as a well established brand that makes good stuff in USA/Canada.
Then there is Delphi, who makes a lot of OEM stuff. Anyone try just their ball joints? I put front sway bar links on my LR3 and they were dirt cheap but have been holding up just fine - better than the AC Delco ones that lasted just weeks. But a lower ball joint is a little more work to replace than a link.

I've used LEMFORDER parts for years (and yes recently) on many models and they have never let me down.
IMO the quality is very much still there 100%.
And for the price; Front Uppers are about $26 each and Lowers are $28 it's a no-brainer.
Delphi is a No for me because I've seen too many Tie Rod Ends that have failed.
Unfortunately I think Delphi is on par with Moog.
It's your call, Good Luck!
