Default LR3 with DTC P0695

I have a 2005 LR3 with 148,000 (mostly) trouble-free miles. The truck is serviced regularly and most problems are addressed as soon as they appear. The only challenging history was suspension issues in the first couple of years - fixed with updates on a service campaign.

The check engine light is on and the code is P0695 - Fan circuit 3 low.

I am not sure what the problem may be or what the next diagnostic step is. The suspects are a cooling sensor, fan, thermostat, short in wiring?

I have not seen any drivability issues. We are in Southern Cal, so warmup is usually fast (rarely below 35 degrees in morning) and we do not have extreme high heat often.

Any direction is very appreciated. Thanks

Checking back. Does anyone have any hints as to what the "fan control circuit 3" sensors might be and what might cause its low (voltage)? Thanks

Default Any luck?

I just ran into the same issue. I see that this happened to you back in 2013. What did you do to resolve the problem?

There is a electronic control on the fan clutch that circuit is where the problem lies. No idea on the fix.

This code gets thrown when the fan that cools the ECU in the engine compartment is bad/disconnected. It's right behind the battery under the covers for the ECU/TCU
