When did you purchase the extended warranty?

 

I called the dealer in CT dragan listed and the online quotes. They are both $3700 bones. Regardless if you have the issues dragan had $3700 is a deal! His repairs are looking like $6k+ thus far.

 

I called and talked about price and details of the warranty, but i bought it over the internet. As soon as you buy they will send you confirmation letter and and after a week or so I got the agreement in the mail.

Total newbie here (my firat post), so please excuse my ignorance. I just bought a 2007 LR3 SE and warranty expires at the end of August. I called local LR dealer and they told me their extended warranty was $3,200 for one year!

I know that Ford used to own Jag/LR, but not anymore, right? So why do they warranty the LR now? And when you say "take it to any dealer", are you talking about a LR dealer or a Ford dealer?

If this makes sense, I am all over 3 extra years for $3,700.

I think $3,700 for three extra years of warranty is a great deal. LR direct wanted $3,600 for one year.

 

I haven't bought a warranty yet. I'm still checking numbers at different places. You should check out those thread, it has some interesting information on extended warranties.

has anyone heard of Continental Warranty? http://www.continentalwarrantyinc.co.../products.html I am thinking of getting 07 LR3 and this is the ext. warranty the dealer offer. I wonder how good they are. PS. place I buy this used truck will be diff to dealer I plan to service the truck.
