I figure in Mackenzie, with taxes and shipping in, that would be about $1,600.00. Now yes, these are Canadian dollars, each being worth only 90 cents US, but still this is along way from seven hundred.
I am sure at the dealer it does cost more.

Just checked that part# at the online parts shop my Indy shop uses. The prices did go up since I last checked but still about $754 US. About $1600 US will get you an entire fuel tank with senders and fuel pump included. No tax since it comes from out of state for me.

My tank does not pick up fuel when the gauge gets just under half, tank is not empty cause it takes 9 gallons to fill from there

I am gonna try to swap tanks with our parts truck but would rather know how to fix the problem instead of pulling and replacing 2 tanks

There is an in tank filter that maybe partially blocked.
Tom R - One of the in tank sensors is not working if you seem to be out when its only half empty

I think pulling two tanks and replacing one is easier than trying to figure out what is wrong with either the fuel pumps or the fuel senders.

You might first try connecting and disconnecting whatever electrical connectors you can find under there on the off chance the problem is just corrosion at the exterior electrical plugs.
The attached pdf speaks to the internals and operation of the various elements within the fuel tank.
