My truck started life in SoCal, so likely got some sun down there. I do think it was garaged based on overall good condition. Here in OR it is garaged a lot of the time but not 100%. I use Formula 303, probably not as much as I should.

Other than the very common passenger airbag cracking, my first crack occurred while parked north of Golden, BC for a week this March. Extreme cold temps are what seems to exacerbate it.

Yeah probably both (or either) extreme sun/heat or extreme cold. I've had my '05 in the Yukon Territory (below 0) but that was only for about 5 days. It survived!

I had one slight crack by the passenger airbag which has turned into two. Other than that, the rest is in great condition. I condition it regularly, keep it garaged and use a sun reflector in the height of summer when out and about.

Hi,
Sorry to resurface an old thread but does any of you guys have experience with the Coverlay solution?
Thanks.

I don't have any personal experience using them, but they came highly recommended from a trusted friend. I just purchased an LR3 and my plan is to purchase a Coverlay as soon as I can. What did you end up doing?

I am still trying to get the Coverlay but the transport cost to Porugal is 4 x the price of the cover, bringing the total to 1000+ USD.

Still looking at alternatives.

I'm about to install a Coverlay. My somewhat cracked dash doesn't bother me much, but I may be selling the LR3 soon (pretty sure I want to try out a Supercharged 06-09 Rover) so I thought I'd try the Coverlay out. Will post later on how it goes.
