Once the knuckle is off you remove the snap ring just like the top and setup the tool like this, pops right out, I will post an install pic when parts arrive
I could not find a torque value listed for the lower ball joint, guess the manual has a typo,I will assume its the same as the upper which is 52 ft lbs use at your own risk

 

Here is the replacement joint, and pic of the tool setup, I did one on the vehicle one off the vehicle made no difference, super easy
