Im looking for some roof rails for the LR3. OEM are probably the best, of course, but has anyone installed some inexpensive alternatives? I will only be mounting some lighting gear, GPS and camera stuff. Nothing at all heavy. So really they will more of a mounting system than an actual rack system. Will be drilling, riveting into them so I also hate to ruin OEM rack. But if the lesser priced ones are simply no good (too much flex, bad fit, etc), I will look for a used OEM set.
