My daughter wants roof rails/rack for her LR3 for Xmas. She just wants something that looks cool - not something that is substantial. She will quite literally never use it. I need something that looks good and is cheap.

Any ideas?

 

You best bet is eBay. I picked up cross-bars for $80 shipped. The rails were already installed on mine. The cross-bars are pretty cheap and wont hold much. I would not use them for bikes, for example. Mine are for holding some light camera gear and antenna only. I will be moving onto a full rack soon.
