LR3 key fob replacement - ikeyless.com
Abran,
What dealer did you go to? I'm getting quotes of around $360 from Encino and Pasadena. I just read in another forum of different prices from different dealers with Newport Beach being around the price you quoted. I was going to call them this morning.
As an update to my other post - West Palm Beach in FL no longer does mail order of the keys. They may have gotten into trouble or had too many inquiries. Have to go in in person to the dealership.

Call them and see what they quote. If its more, I can order the remote for you. Just need a picture of your ID and a picture of the registration or title of the vehicle.
Update!
Got an unlocked LR3 circuit board after what seemed like a shady backdoor drug deal. Put it in in a new case with uncut key blade and went with my 2 existing remotes and the new "unlocked" remote to code.
Autologic asked me how many I wanted to code, I said 3. Started with my 2 then on the third I could only get the tip in as the blade was uncut, but it programmed it.
I tested the keyless function but now need to get the blade cut to confirm that the immobilizer chip works.
So partial success. More to come

I just spoke with Anaheim and was quoted $587, programmed, out the door. Same price as my dealer in Jacksonville. I am going to try Palm Beach next but fear it will be the same.
I can confirm that the Remotes "do not" come with the immobilizer chip coded from the factory. The only reason they are using your VIN is to cut the key blade. I bought the wiped or refreshed remote and got the blade cut and it coded to my vehicle with no issues. Starts and drives as well as the keyless entry.
So, you buy the key set the OP has linked from ikeyless.com, take it to a locksmith and have it cut, and take it to a dealership to have it programmed?

I don't think anyone in this thread has actually bought one of those remotes. There is no mention of the remote being reflashed, so I doubt it will work.
I have taken used remotes, had them reflashed then programmed them and cut the key to my rover.
