Default LR3 Manual No Drive after new clutch

Good morning all

I am posting this on behalf of my dad. He has a new clutch fitted to his 2004 Discovery 3 on the south coast then lost all drive heading home to Lincoln, now recovered to Lincoln.

The vehicle ideally should be taken back to the garage that did the work as it only lasted 150 miles but that is 200 miles from him. I am wondering if anyone can offer any advice as to what might have happened. Currently he has

No forward or reverse
Strange noise when he lets the clutch out
If he turns the engine off whilst in gear and let's out clutch it does jump forward other than that absolutely nothing
Gear selection is as it should be
Clutch comes up as it should
No difference in high or low ratio

He is going to take the belly pan off this morning and see if he can see anything obvious but what other tests are there. They would have had to have really messed up not to have bolted down the new DMF, clutch plate or pressure plate.

Any advice would be greatly welcome

You wont get any assistance here since North America didn't get the TDV6 and hence no manual box either, try Disco3.co forum.
Even Australia only got a handful of manual discos in 2005.

This forum is global, but def leans NA by a large margin. So I agree, Disco3 is where you will get much more help and quickly.
