I'm guessing he didn't "air down" those o-ring tires? lol...
He had some wheel rash at the end of the trip and didn't seem to care. Think we had 14 Rovers on that adventure. Hackett Gulch down to the South Platte River since your local and we have spoke on the phone.
I thought that looked like Rampart... Yep, scratches, scrapes and scuffs are all part of the adventure. I get the ******* looking at those sidewalls though. Probably not much tallus around there. Cool image of a funky angle. I'm assuming you've kept the 3?

Yep, my LR3 is staying with us, forever. I love it too much and feel horrible that I even thought of selling it. Of the group, only the Discovery Sports and Evoques had to stay behind. Every stock LR3, LR4, and a few Range Rovers did just fine. The driver of an LR4 picked an incredibly horrible approach, but thankfully my brother and a dealership employee were quick to act and hung on to the rear bumper, keeping it from rolling over.
Before I pulled the trigger on our LR3 I watched some youtube videos of LR3's in action, and if you watch them you can kind of see the wheels moving down when they can to grab some grip, the effect is almost like a robot feeling it's way across the terrain. That pretty much sold. me.
I have no doubt that RR's have the same capabilities but the feel is different, and,, what is up with the drivers door handle on all of the older ones? They all pucker up and go horrible.

That'll cut a sphincter hole in the seat cover. Props to the guy who saved it from flopping over!
