I am just considering having our welding students at the high school make me a roof rack. Anyone have any thoughts, patterns, drawings, etc. Also, is the some sort of attachment device that would attach this to the vehicle.

Yes - I fairly certain you could. Mine is missing the front trim pieces, and I had looking into getting full-length rails to cosmetically correct it.

@Alrawas Thank you! those were GY duratracs 275/65r18 (32"x11") and they fit and function on LR3 really well.

I never carry fire wood, leaves cinders and ash to blow around, might cause fire where you cannot put it out. I use this for staring into and to cook on.
