LR3 Transfer Case

LR3 Transfer Case
Hi Guys,
I currently drive a 97 Discovery but fell in love with a 08 LR3 SE when I went to the dealer for some parts. The LR3 was a service loaner and being sold for under $35K which is out of my price range right now but it got me thinking. Do the LR3s use a 2-speed transfer case like my Disco? Does it have a center differential lock option? I looked inside the LR3 that was sitting on the show room floor but couldn't find any buttons or switches that appeared to control the transfer case. Everything I have read about the suspension set up on the LR3 appears to make it an incredible off-road vehicle from the factory.
If I didn't owe so much on my Dodge pickup I would be trading it on that LR3 I saw at the dealer.
Thanks for the info.

RE: LR3 Transfer Case
The LR3 has a HI and LOW it has a CDL that automatically kicks in. YOu can get a rear locker but that is an HSE option Heavey Duty pkg.
The Rear Locker is not a deal breaker the traction control comes close to simulating one, but if you can get one with it why not?
18" rims are as small as you can go on the V8.
Nathan has a ton of good info on this
