Yeah, the L322 uses a different transfer case.

man... i'm so disappointed. I just took it out for a 30 mile ride and it's all f'd up. transmission faults kept happening, which I was able to clear with the IID tool. then it was shuddering so bad I had to stop and check nothing was breaking loose.

I think this might be the beginning of the end

Did you verify trans fluid level? Asked before, don't think you mentioned if you did. If you have that much coming out, you will have trans issues. They trans is dang near ounce capacity sensitive. You can not be over/under.

You check the level at the same place you added stop leak. With engine running and up to temp, you remove the plug and let it idle as you add fluid until it drips once every two seconds or such. I forget the exactness. Obviously truck has to be a very level ground.

strange but true: all is well... i don't really know how it's all related, but I followed the check fluid procedure I found here
and from dakota to check my transmission fluid level. a whole bunch spilled out when I got it up to temp. pic attached , the water in there is from the AC condensation dripping-

After I refilled it, I tried to run the clutch and position sensor calibration with GapIID, and they both worked! took it out for a ride and it's back to normal.

So it appears your transmission was very much over-filled? So no more leak?
