Finally got my 3 back and running. Key fob won't work so I need to figure that out. Ended up costing $1400 total for $200 fuse box off eBay and $1200 in labor.
Issue now is the faults came back, not all but the abs, amber brake light, and triangle with exclamation point. Also it says HDC fault when it cycles through messages.
Wondering now if this stems from the wheel speed sensors. I had replaced the rear brakes not too long before this happened and wondering if I knocked the sensor off in the process. Not sure how easy that would be but thinking that could be a possibility. Also I recently had new tires put on and that could have led to a sensor knocked around as well.
Any idea if larger than OEM size tires could cause any of this? I went 265/65/18 so not a huge jump.
But with all this work around brakes and tires I am beginning to think the issue is around the wheel speed sensors

Wheel speed sensor fault will turn on the check engine light as well.

Going to need to get faults pulled. Could be as simple as something needing calibration, could be a poor connection somewhere.

Did you have the entire engine harness replaced, or just the box?

The whole fuse box and harness was replaced. Faults went away but I expect them to come back. I get a suspension fault all the time, goes away after restarting but that's been happening for a while. Looking to change to coil over when I get around to having the money and not fixing something else.
I guess I do need to get to the dealer and see what they say

Iam having similar issues with my 09 lr3

Will not start, Christmas lights (red break light/abs , tire pressure not working , Hdc not working ect)

I done the following
Change the battery
Change all break lamps
Change break light switch
Check most of the connectors (just visually)

It did start one time after trying may be 50 times

Can this be a issue with the equipment cluster

Sounds like it could be multiple things and sounds like you tried the process of elimination. Mine ended up being the fuse box melted, well actually I think it's the R6 relay melted and made the whole box useless. Had to replace it all, got the part on eBay with harness and had someone install for a total of about $1400. Was quoted at first about $3700. Check fuses and relays to look for signs of burns where they plug in so you'd have to pull them out to see.

The one by the battery in the engine compartment. I looked it over and pulled so fuses out before I gave up and sent it to a shop, so I had a hard time believing them when they said the fuse box. It looked perfectly normal but when I asked them to show me, the mechanic pulled out a relay and it was charred where it plugs in.

I was doing some more investigations today. Did not find any thing

However, I took few of the fuses out ( Hdc , tpmc , abs and the r6 thru 13 relays)

With out those relays and fuses I still get the same messages.

Does this mean any thing ? Can this be a bad cluster ?

Hopefully someone else will chime in here but I wouldn't think the instrument cluster would be the issue. It just lights up when it gets the signal something isn't working. Something isn't working. Did you do a hard reset?
