LR4 facelift tail lights on LR3?
Does any body know if these will fit and if they do is the wiring plug and play? The ad says they are 2013 on.
Sorry, I can't link from my phone, the app just crashes.

Fit wise, no problem. If they are LED then I think you have to have an extra bit of wiring so they work properly. If they are regular bulbs with just the LR4 look then they should be plug and play.
Direct fit but you need the resistors so you don't get the wonky turn signal indicator flash on the dash.

I know a guy that put LR4 tail lights with no issue(he said, I saw them installed but didn't check the function), but the earlier ones. Maybe resisters are in the lights?
The link I posted was for 2013 models that have more black around the border. Didnt knowing the body had changed.

The pair for sale in the eBay sale you linked is a good price, even with the $70 shipping.
They are the latest model and once you pickup a pair of resistors for them, total is only about $490
I'm considering doing this upgrade myself someday as I'm a firm believer that LEDs offer greater visibility in bad weather, etc. Plus they aren't going to burn out or cause the burnt-out tail lamp to cause other electrical gremlins.

So the question is... Who s going the cave in and buy them first, then do a write up on the install?
I vote you! Jk. I need to get my trans figured out, but as always, I'm dreaming of putting the cart before the horse.

I have done the facelift tail lights on my 06 RR Sport and my current 06 LR3 with zero issues.
BUT..........
You MUST wire in some 15w resistors / "load equalizers" minimum in-line on each turn signal wire, to ground, and you'll be good to go.
No ifs-ands-or-buts about it, the vehicle and TS module are looking for regular 20-25w signal bulbs, and you're showing it 3-5w-ish of LEDs. It thinks there's nothing there, and with no resistance will blink super-fast.
I don't know the wiring color-codes offhand but can look them up if someone still needs them. FWIW it's also interesting to note that I used my RRS tow adapter wiring kit on my LR3 after I sold the RRS and it works perfectly, there's just the duplicate pass-through wire harness for the tail light which isn't required since the LR3 does not share the same grommet like the RRS is forced to (for space constraints).
ALSO FWIW, keep in mind that LR offers the blackout-edition tail lights for select late model facelift LR4s. I took the time to do the research and find the part numbers and ordered them from my LR dealership, they look totally badass and are very unique.

Oh damn sorry guys, just actually went to the link and looked - they're the ones I have.
Guess you won't be the first, but anyways at the very least I suppose I can confirm that they work!
The twin LED rings for parking lights are badass at night.
