Thanks for posting the pic! Do you happen to have any of everything lit up?
I'm not sure I'm sold on the new 2014 facelift black version on the LR3 (too fancy), but def interested in this.

BUT..........

You MUST wire in some 15w resistors / "load equalizers" minimum in-line on each turn signal wire, to ground, and you'll be good to go.

No ifs-ands-or-buts about it, the vehicle and TS module are looking for regular 20-25w signal bulbs, and you're showing it 3-5w-ish of LEDs. It thinks there's nothing there, and with no resistance will blink super-fast.

I don't know the wiring color-codes offhand but can look them up if someone still needs them. FWIW it's also interesting to note that I used my RRS tow adapter wiring kit on my LR3 after I sold the RRS and it works perfectly, there's just the duplicate pass-through wire harness for the tail light which isn't required since the LR3 does not share the same grommet like the RRS is forced to (for space constraints).

ALSO FWIW, keep in mind that LR offers the blackout-edition tail lights for select late model facelift LR4s. I took the time to do the research and find the part numbers and ordered them from my LR dealership, they look totally badass and are very unique.
Came to this thread expecting an abomination, but this isn't half bad. Good job.

Not mine, but interested and I saw this posted before

This LR3 also have the LED reflector replacements. I think it might look better if the plastic part above the license plate was painted body color (like LR4s).

Not as good as I had hoped. Maybe glossy black would be better:

If you could post the wire color codes that would be great. I just bought a set of tail lights and need to get them installed. Thank you!

Eh I don't mind it. I'd have to do the fenders as well though, and that's a whole different animal.

Don't mind the license plate, it's back to UK 4X4 now. 😈

On my phone now, I'll pull up the color codes and some better pictures late.

abran - maybe these help a bit. Mosty stuff you know, but they do mention the resistor and wires.:

Thanks Shaggy, as always I'm putting the cart before the horse as the trans still needs help, but I couldn't resist.

Tom, Whats an HD flasher?
