They did, but you just add resistors to the indicators only and then they are plug and play (some suppliers have already added the resistor for you).

the resistor is a 6 ohm 25/50 watt heat sink type that is wired across the indicator wires only. Mine were already done by the company I bought them from (Powerfulukltd). Here is their video

this is fitting an LR4 light onto an LR3 car. I'm trying to fit a light that is only compatible up to 2014 (presumably before the black trimmed lights were introduced) to a 2016 car (so the process is going in reverse). basically, i'm trying to fit an older light onto a newer car. do the same steps apply?
