The 05 is not pre wired for park assist

It is pre wired for the 3rd from airbags, and 12 v power socket at the back on the drivers side, it is also pre wired for the driving lights in the bumper, the bumper has the brackets and there is a outline on the inside where to cut, I was going to do this but my dremel broke

Even though I have the additional off road package and the nav shows an unlocked padlock in the center and in the back I do not appear to have the rear locking diff best we can tell, I have a big *** spare but it is on a steel rim not aluminum like the HD comes with

Wow, with the headlights did you have to do anything special? Are they the headlights that swivel when you turn?. We're the third row seats difficult to install?

3rd row was a day taking apart 2 vehicles and reassemble both but I also added the airbags which has turned on the airbag lite, rover tech tried a reset and reprogram to get rid of it but no luck

You need to drive in the seat bolts with an impact gun the holes are there but unthreaded and the bolts are self threading, don't forget the seat belts

Now the airbag lite has a chance of being turned off but the tech would have to take it to work and call rover engineering for the master unlock for my vin and I would have to pay dealer price for that

The headlights simple plug in, they do not appear to move

Will you consider taking the third row airbags out? Or is there enough value there to have the dealer set the computer? I didn't realize the 3rd row would bolt in, that's good to know for future purposes!

Also, this isn't going to replace the D1 I hope..

Nope this is wife's new dd

If I can't get the lite out I may just unplug them, the computer actually tells him they are not supposed to be there

With the computer denying their existence, would try even deploy in an accident?

I would say no - specifically because the computer doesn't just "trigger" them all at once, it detects many different things in different areas of the vehicle before deciding what to do. Are there different sensors in the rear of the LR3 for 3rd row occupants as well?

No the fault just states the extra airbags are detected, there see no sensor faults

Got the rear steel bumpers pulled off both and welded the good one on the 05

Found that both the big vibration weights were unbolted laying on the frame guess they were not doing much except making noise

Here's some pics, 05 was hit in rear in 2009 on carfax this was under the bumper skin, other pic is the 06 with bumper removed, this was not as hard as I thought, the frame and bumper are only 1/8" steel it is a frigging joke
