Default Need Opinions re: CARFAX riddled w/repairs, good or bad?

So I guess you could look at it two ways, right? On one hand, you could argue that many things that would need to be replaced, have already been replaced. On the other hand, you could argue that this LR was shoddily put together and these repairs are an indication of things to come.

Thoughts?

At least they were fixed. You can't view the carfax with your links. I have probably repaired 45 things since 2005.

This might work (link to the autotrader posting where you can click to get CFAX): Cars for Sale: 2005 Land Rover LR3 SE in Elgin, IL 60120: Sport Utility Details - 401048364 - Autotrader

Right, but is that an indication of something? I mean, any manufacturer is going to have a few lemons come out of the factory, is this one of them? (rhetorical, but you know what I'm saying)

Honestly, I think that's a really good looking Carfax. It essentially has one owner who seems to have maintained the vehicle very well. I don't know why it seems to have had cooling system and fuel system issues early on, but I would imagine those items have been fixed since they haven't continued to surface. I wouldn't shy away at all personally.

Ya, it's certainly low mileage, how bad could it be... it's worth a serious look.

Price seems very good. My only thought is -- why did it only get owned for less than a year with it's prior owner?

Test everything you can during your inspection!

I don't think it was an actual "owner" in the sense that we think of one. It looked to me like the dealer had to take ownership of the car (perhaps it was traded in at the dealer, they used it around the dealership for a couple thousand miles and then sold it at auction and another dealer bought it). This kind of stuff happens all the time.

That may be -- I'd still just be cautious. The end of it all though, if you can go through the truck, test the low range, suspension, check all the sunroof glass, engine general inspection, etc... It won't matter if someone did buy it for a short time or not -- if you're happy with it, for the mileage it's price is indeed very nice.
