Nice! I want to do the same - while also removing the orange plastic bits. Powerful UK sells these too but they are polycarbonate and I would bet money they are in fact. The Aliexpress ones say ABS in the specs, poly in the text. So part of me says they are the same, the other part of me wants to spend twice as much (with shipping factored in) to ensure they are poly. Either way, though, they will make mine look better too!

And I did polish mine too, just a month ago. I will never, every use the sanding things they come with again. I used just the compound on one and it turned out great. But I wanted to get some of the bad scratches out and then it all went south... lol

On my list of things to do is remove the orange lens and polish the outer lens.

Ditto. They went up in price but the shipping is WAY up. I think three years ago they were also $100 shipped.... procrastination!

The amber are lenses great, gives it that distinct classic rover look, just like the all red tail lights.

If my vote counts for anything, keep the amber.

Just remember to coat the clear plastic, especially for those that are sanding/polishing. Either wax, ceramic, or an actual clear-coat paint to give it UV protection. Otherwise, they'll fog again. I wet-sanded mine in progressive steps, then polished, then ceramic coated them and they look nearly new, aside from some pitting which I can't get deep enough to remove.
