that's a nice set of wheels Delray.

I see that they are Black Rock Intruders and Black Rock only lists one size in the 5x120 bolt pattern we require. You mention that the wheel pushes the tires out by 3/4"... I currently use 3/16" spacers for my tires on stock wheels. My question is does the TPMS system work with these wheels? Also, what did you pay for each? I am looking for a set of five so I will have a full size spare.

Hey Spiderman, My '05 SE does not have the TPMS, but from others I understand the OEM TPMS should fit most aftermarket - if not, there are also aftermarket TPMS sensors. I have not researched it out a lot though.

You would not need spacers, but you need (or I would highly recommend) hub centric rings with an outer diameter of 83.058 mm and Inner Diameter of 72.56. I purchased custom-made aluminum ones at www.motorsport-tech.com. They were $100 for the set of 4. I am just going to put the same size rubber one of my existing wheels for the spare.

It looks like my link did not work in my original post. I got them at 4wheelparts.com
or 4wd.com is the same company.

The actual hub cap/ decorative cover will not fit with the hub-centric ring, as it has a lip and acts as a ring on its own. I ended up cutting an inch off the back of the Black Rock cap with a cutting wheel. Put a little bit of epoxy along the back of the inner edge and glued them in place. You could also just leave them off and paint your inner hub/bolt/nut flat black.

They went up a little in price (I got them for around $163 each shipped) Promo code CC5OFF will get you 5% off at 4WheelParts.com.
RMN5OFF will get you 5% off and free shipping (in the US) at 4WD.com

Thanks for the reply and the info.

I put the 285/65 R18 Trail Grapplers on mine and they are too wide to not use spacers. The side lugs rub on the upper control arms in the front. The studs are too short and I lose the hub centre if I use anything more than 3/16" but it is just enough to keep the rubber from squeaking as it passed the control arm. My next size will have to be smaller diameter, although the width would be fine with less side lug protrusion or wheels with a larger offset. Also, winters on one set and summer mudders on another would be nice, but I have been running the MTs all winter with little problems. It even snowed a record 69 inches in December alone in my little town. I have done very little highway driving this so far this winter, not because I can't, but I just have no reason to.

So if the tires are narrower would they rub? Is it a width issue or height?

narrower tires would not rub, I actually think that 285s would fit if there were no side lugs on the tire

both...
the width is the problem in the front, where the side lugs rub the a arm.

the height is a problem on all four corners under full compression, even in Off Road mode. There is just a tiny little bit of clearance in Access mode, but I can't turn sharply or run over anything without hearing the rubbing in the wheel wells.

long story short; 32.59 tires are too big, even with the Johnson Rod lift.

Yah but they look good!!

We really need the tire manufactures to make a 31" x 10ish x 18" mud tire for these.

Anybody know the length of the Johnson rods? I have the Sasquatch rods and want to establish a base line from the Johnson rods.
