Okay bring it on. Your extra tire size of 1" is negligible; your sway bar disconnects will get you about the same articulation I already have (you'll be a little better in front) and I've got you on ground clearance, traction aids, angles and crawl ratio.

...then there is driver talent.

Oh, and with neither rig being purely stock (yours less so than mine) this is engaging in a whole new argument.

Having fun with it though, as I hope you are. We're both Rover guys...hell we're even both named "Eric" or "Erik" or in my case "Erek."

I'd love to make this friendly competition something other than virtual. I'm in WA you're east....so, Colorado?

Dusty I'd like to see a pic or read a description of what your rig really looks like.

Here I'll post one from the SCARR thread:

I do believe he's towing TWO other rovers, in reverse.

Yeah...towing them DOWNhill; that's somethin' !!

Dusty, is that really you? With the roof rack I can't tell if that's an '04 or an '03. Either way it's not a 2000 so I don't think this picture is you.

It's not really fair for me to post photos of him stuck without post some of me stuck. I wasn't even at SCARR this year. No mud to be seen.

Jafir what the heck did you even get hung up on? Pics don't show it...ground looks solid. At least the pics of Dusty are somewhat understandable as his tires were pretty gummed up and he was buried.

Dusty, if your D2 is truly an '02, I hope it's at least the variety that has the CDL...or we shouldn't even be having this conversation!

Stuck happens! That is mine .2000. Paul sold me a headlight conversion. The rest is just normal cookie cutter lift and stuff. Readily available stuff, no chopping Franken stuff. That extremely sexy guy in the cookie cutter target shirt is me

It was a creek bed, so it was mostly loose gravel.

I pretty much didn't pay attention where I was going as I was turning into it, and I've got one tire on each axle spinning. It's not the first time either.

Once again, it looks like I'm stuck on dry, flat ground:
