I do not know if it is sloshing of fuel, but apparently without the dampeners, there is some vibration that shows itself on certain kinds of road surfaces that leads a great number of passengers to car sickness.
The two dampeners at the read were the solution and it was much needed.
My reference to the Australians doing 30 creek crossings just to see the grandparents is almost routine for some of them; and that can be 30 both ways.
For the most part, they do not routinely seek that sort of challenge so will not set out in the first place, but once arrived, to return, you have no choice other than to wait out the rains.
