the dura tracs are rated as a snow tire. I would say they would be the most versatile tire you can put on the LR3 at this time.
I don't think we are knocking the bfg. It is a good tire and was the best at tire out there years ago but there are just better options available now. It was the gold standard. and as you can see in my previous post they still use them to compaire to new at tires to see how they perform.

Although I'm happy with what I have, I think that next time I'll go with the DuraTrac's myself.

These Fuzions were cheap ($115 each plus $80 mounting, balancing, & installation for all five) when I needed tires and so far they have proven to be a pretty good tire. I've not been in a rock garden yet, but everywhere else they have done well. Even in unexpected mud where even mud tires had trouble.

Just another option...

A lot of people I know have the Dura Tracs on their Jeeps, seems that all really like them.
Many rank the General Grabber above the BFG....and most like the Grabber...
And then, there is the Firestone Destination AT. It's a mild AT, but it can get some off road work done, it's not to $$$ either. I'm not sure if it comes in our size or not.
