Default Oil Change in 3008 LR3

Can just any quick lube type place change the oil in the LR3? Is there a Fram equivalent filter or am I forced to go to the LR dealer?

How much do you guys pay for an oil change? How often?

I take mine down to Jiffy Lube and they have no problem. They did charge me for the extra oil for the LR3...it holds like 8 quarts! I think it was like $100 or so.

They say that they can also change all the fluids as needed..(ie: tranny, diff, radiator, etc)

First, never use an oil filter from a lube shop, they are pure crap, go to your local auto parts store and buy a Mobil 1 or K&N oil filter, never use a Fram, they are prone to causing engine dry starts.
For $40 you can do your own oil change and have a better job done.

Default oil change

For the LR3 I thought only a LR tech or dealer with the computer can reset your service notification...and the majority of time spent on the oil change is just using the computer to reset it...the oil change part is 8qts, LR filter...quick and painless... my oil changes have been about $100 inc tax...

Default oil change frequency

and your owner's manual should list the scheduled maintenance...oil changes should be about 7500miles if I remember correctly...
