Default Parking Brake Fault, no codes showing up on blue point OB2 tool

Will this scanner work for my 2007 HSE? I've tried using it to scan for the parking brake fault im getting but nothing shows up. Scanner says no codes found.

I would recommend a legit scanner for your Rover like the IIDTool by GAP Diagnostics.

Any other indications/faults or just parking brake?

I was looking at those. Which would you recommend?

Only other fault is the airbag light thats been on since I bought it. The Parking fault came on one day, went away then came back and hasn't shut off. Parking brake still seems to be working

I have the Blue Tooth version of the IIDTool and love it.

Not sure about that fault...I'd search this forum for starters. I was hoping it was in conjunction with others that would indicated something easy like the Brake Switch. Get the IIDTool, it will tell you what the issue is.

If you know someone nearby (you didn't post a location) who has an IIDTool you can have them read out your codes, you just can't reset the DTC errors because those devices (IIDTool) are locked to a vehicle's VIN. At least that readout might give you a bit of a hint...

Default I think you can...

...clear codes too. The VIN-specific features are the advanced ones like recalibrating and software updates and such.

I've read and cleared faults on other vehicles both D3 & D4.
