Was traveling up to our cabin in the foothills of northern Alabama when the coolant bleeder fitting popped while on a road with no shoulder and about 180 ft of dropoff. Before I could get it stopped, temp spiked. Pulled it home on a car dolly.

Had a slow leak in coolant system after changing bleeder fitting out, finally diagnosed it as a cracked thermostat housing, which looked eroded and paper thin, just like the radiator nipples for the main hose.

Anyway, long story short, replaced all damaged/worn parts, still slow leak. Suspected head gasket until this week when random misfire codes and misfire on cyl 5 & 6 showed up.

Now wanting to sell. Can't afford repairs since got cut at work in the spring.

located near New Orleans. Ordered new coils, plugs and 2 injectors only installed 2 coils before realizing it is the head gasket or block. Anyone wanting a project or parts truck, make offer.

2007 LR3 heavy package, dark blue, starts and runs with miss. Did brakes and pads, plugs, coolant, rear diff, and front bearings at around 100k. Has 150k+/- now. Would be happy to get $4000.

No rust, minor dings and scratches windows and door locks, seats all work. Never wrecked. Pictures available upon request.
