Default Possible new LR3 owner....

Hi all-
Came across a 2005 LR3 fs on my motorcycle group. ADVRider. 100,000 miles. Looks decent. Says sunroof doesn't work. I did read about the 20 second trick. If I can't get it going, would sealing it up with sealant from the top work? Don't care about the sunroof, not a fan. Noisy, and a poor sub for a convertible. Suspension works, sounds decent all around. He's owned it a few years, previous life was as a tow vehicle off an RV. Having a little mental trauma working things out. Car is a 2 to 3 day drive. Never done a fly and drive before. Closest to that was a Ducati, bought used from a dealer a day away. Rode Amtrak to get it. Was prepared to take the train home if it didn't measure up. This would be a little harder, if it's not as stated........ Thanks, Bill

I'd want a LOT more info. Does it leak? Is it in need of bushings? That suspension does not look happy....can they send a pic of it at normal height? WTF is hanging out of the front end? Why?

100k miles means it's due for a bunch of maintenance too, like spark plugs and maybe tranny fluid. Other stuff that I'm forgetting.

The guy got back to me. No real records. "But, It runs great!". Think we're gonna pass. If it were closer, so I could inspect it in person. Just too far out there......... Thanks for the input.....
