I just received the ProClip phone holder for the LR3 and plan to installing it tomorrow. Looking over the instructions, it says NOT for wood grain panel. Mine has the piano black finish but looking at the trim panel from the rear, looks like it may have been made with some type of wood maybe??? Hard to tell.

Does anybody have any experience with the ProClip holder on an HSE trim package?

I don’t think it mentions not for use on wood trim when ordering which would have been helpful.
