Default Radio Amp

Hello All,

I have had an 06 LR3 for 4 years now and since day one the speakers didn't sound too impressive. I didn't change them because I didn't care. The passenger side speakers all sounded tinny and and "off". More recently all of the speakers on the passenger side have stopped working.

This could be that the speakers have gone bad, but I doubt THAT MANY just stopped working. I'm thinking it might be the amp, and have seen several threads on amps going bad. Is there a way to test the amp or is this just one of those "replace it" and hope for the best things?

Thank you.

Well you could inspect the speakers. Even swap side to side. My center one went bad and sounded tinny. Certain frequencies were horrible. I use some RTV to bond the cone and rubber membrane back. Sounds great again!
