Rattle in Rear
I have been experiencing an obvious rattle coming from the passenger rear underside of my '05 LR3. It only happens over rough road or when hitting a bump or pothole, but it shouldn't happen at all.
When I first reported to the dealer they said it was the parking brake cable rattling against the hole in the frame it passes through. They said they fixed it, but nothing changed.
When i brought it back again for the same thing they diagnosed as a loose spare tire. Again, nothing changed. It sounds more like a loose mounted shock or something.
Anyone have this same problem and have a solution or suggestion?
Thanks

check the 3rd row seats. If you have them, open them and see if it goes away. when mine were down, one of the seat bottoms would bounce/rattle. bushing was shot. apparently a common problem. bushing is not an individual part - dealer ordered a new $1000 seat frame.
