So one of my side project thoughts is making a permenant 2" received in the bumper that would get covered with the stock bumper and access panel , eliminating the need for that damn adapter

I have replaced the steel bumper so its not a big deal the steel is thin

Thoughts?

 

I think you're onto something....



One of the main goals of the bumper build was to eliminate the goofy 'plow' it came with stock.
