Pretty sure I did....when I read it now it shows as 'not installed'. Maybe I'll do it again this weekend just for the heck of it.

I guess it will react in the same manner if any part of the system has an issue. The speaker will emit a continuous tone for 5 seconds or so and then will go silent and the light will just flash. This happens if you have a wiring harness issue or if you have a bad sensor. Happened to me when my rear left outer sensor went.

I just re-read the original post. Can't be the speaker if he's getting a beep!

Since you don't have sensors on your rear bumper, the ECU will always complain even if you disable them in the CCF. The solution is to disconnect the ECU directly or remove the fuse if you don't mind losing the TPMS functionality (same fuse).
