Rear Parking Sensors

I guess it will react in the same manner if any part of the system has an issue. The speaker will emit a continuous tone for 5 seconds or so and then will go silent and the light will just flash. This happens if you have a wiring harness issue or if you have a bad sensor. Happened to me when my rear left outer sensor went.

Oddly, I used my IID tool to set the CCF to 'no parking sensors' since I don't have them on my rear bumper at all. Still every time I shift into reverse the alarm sounds and I have to punch the little button on the dash to shut it up. It's become second nature now, but you'd think with the CCF set to 'none' it wouldn't act like that.
Since you don't have sensors on your rear bumper, the ECU will always complain even if you disable them in the CCF. The solution is to disconnect the ECU directly or remove the fuse if you don't mind losing the TPMS functionality (same fuse).
